Jennifer Leah Scheer was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 6, 1978. She grew up in Chicago, Boston, and Cincinnati, and eventually moved to New York to pursue an acting career. Her theatre debut in "I Married an Angel" made the cover of the New York Times, and was followed by numerous off-Broadway shows, including "The Cherry Orchard", "Miss Julie" and "King Henry IV Part 2".
