John was born and raised in suburban Chicago, and holds the distinction of being the first person ever baptized at the Church Of The Resurrection in the town of West Chicago (and was later confirmed there). He earned a B.A. at Columbia College in Chicago, studying broadcasting. A lifelong lover of God, comedy and pro wrestling, among John's all-time biggest influences include Jesus Christ, The Ritz Brothers, Flip Wilson and Dick The Bruiser.
