Lauderdale International Film Festival for the ""Confession"" a story he wrote, produced and directed.Emmett is an identical twin. His twin brother Thomas Joseph Fitzsimmons, a writer, wrote ""Dead Eye,"" which is a story based on a blazing gun battle that took place in the 43 Pct, the Bronx in which Emmett was awarded the Combat Cross.
