Christian Rutegard was born on the 19th of November in 1979 and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. He and his twin brother Martin got an early interest in movies. They have won several prizes for movie making for amateurs. In high school and at the university when he had to write a school essay Christian chose to make a movie instead when the others wrote their school essay. He has always liked to express and illustrate himself through pictures and consider himself very visual. In high school his classmates called him "the little Spielberg".
