On October 4 1995, a star was born in Corpus Christi, Texas; her name is Ambrosia Jasmine Kelley. Born the only child to a Hispanic mother and African American father, Ambrosia was special from the start. She became a local star instantly; at the age of two she appeared on a local Corpus Christi, talk show entitled The Silvia D. Show. She sung a song from another local star the late Selena Perez. Being in front of the camera came naturally to her; she was often the star of home made movies. When Ambrosia was four her aunt suggested that she enter into a local talent competition. In 1999, she was discovered by a local Corpus Christi talent agency Infinity Model and Talent Agency. In 2000, she came to Hollywood with Infinity. During the 2 weeks competing at IMTA (International Model and Talent Agencies), Ambrosia was in 10 competitions and won 10 awards including first runner-up for Child Model of the Year, and she was scouted by 38 agencies. Her family moved to California officially in February of 2000 and chose Kazarian, Spencer and Associates as her agent. During her first meeting with KSA, she was sent to her first audition and booked it. It was for a co-starring role on a new Warner Bros show called Popular. A true star had just made her entrance into tinsel town. In 2001, she appeared on stage with singer and actor Jennifer Lopez (J.Lo) at the American Music Awards. Ambrosia made her feature film debut in 2003, as Nikia "Nikki" Bell in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume One. She has been in many commercials such as ones for Downy Softener and T.J Maxx and Kmart just to name a few. She has done many other co-starring roles on shows such as The Parkers, Half & Half and can be frequently seen on the police drama CSI: Miami. She has also lent her voice to a few cartoon shows. When she is not acting or modeling Ambrosia attends elementary school and is in the third grade. She has many friends and enjoys singing, dancing, gymnastics just as a 9 year old should.
