Christie attended high-school at Trinity College School in Port Hope, Ontario Canada. Her training includes an under graduate degree from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts; she was a musical theatre performance major under the direction of Kristen Linklator (author of Freeing The Natural Voice). She also has a BA from The College of Charleston in South Carolina in Theatre Performance and Business Arts Management degree. She has graced stages across Canada and the USA, most notably playing "April" in the acclaimed show "Company", and "Hedy La Rue" in the stellar cast of "How to Succeed in Business without even Trying" She is a resident actor at the annual SPOLETO USA Festival in SC and has worked with the acclaimed musical director Maida Libkin (Jerry's Girl - starring Carol Channing), among others. Christie's training includes several years at Playhouse West in Los Angeles (Meisner technique) under the direct direction of Robert Carnegie. She also works as a model, and can be seen on many US, European and Canadian magazines (most recognized from her shoot in Q Magazine with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry). In Vancouver, she hosts on Arc2 TV and is the live host for the monthly (2004) 'Stripped' concert series. Christie is a recipient of the Terry Fox Humanitarian award.
