Tom Nicholson was born and grew up in Marshfield, Massachusetts, a small beach town suburb of Boston. He made his first short film when he was 16 along with his brother Bill. When Tom was only 17 he created, produced and directed his own news magazine show on local cable called "Marshfield Underground". A year later, Tom won an award from the USA Network and Adelphia cable for a short film he directed on racism called "Erase the Hate". Nicholson attended Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. There he studied film/digital video production and graduated in 2003 with a bachelors degree in Mass Communication/Production. While in college He directed and edited his third short film called "One Man Standing". Through his college Nicholson was the director of photography for a music video shot in Nice, France in 2002. In July of 2003 Nicholson packed up his belongings and moved to Los Angeles, California. For the past 3 years Tom has been working as a 1st Assistant Director on Feature and Short Films, Discover Channel-National Geographic shows, as well as Music Videos. Nicholson also has several 2nd Unit Directing credits and Line Producer on a feature film with Stephen Baldwin and Tom Sizemore. IMDb Mini Biography By: anoynomous
