A child model for a major Canadian department store in the late 1970s, Michael caught the performance bug early on. After several stage performances and a stint on campus radio in Hamilton, he moved to Victoria, BC and further pursued his creative aspirations. In 2004, he and Kevin Robert Armstrong formed Three Schooner Productions. Their company has produced the Western Canadian premiere of Trey Parker's "Cannibal: The Musical", which was voted Favourite Production by the public at the 2005 M Awards, presented by local publication Monday Magazine. They also founded The 30 Cent Players, a sketch comedy troupe who have gone on to perform at SketchFest Vancouver, Calgary's FunnyFest and made their national debut over the radio airwaves with CBC's "So, You Think You're Funny?" in July of 2006.Besides performing sketch, Michael is a trained improviser and also performs stand-up.
