Started as a disc jockey on his hometown radio station in Waterbury, Connecticut while still a Junior at Watertown High School. Worked for NBC in Washington, D.C. on WKYS FM (where he met his wife who worked at WRC AM in the same building) and the two moved to Los Angeles in 1980. After stints on the air with KHTZ, KKHR and KIIS FM Joe became the voice of Fox Television network in 1988 and became the voice of CBS in 1997. The only radio personality to fill in for both Casey Kasem and Shadow Stevens on American Top 40.Hosted a radio show in Tokyo and Yokahama Japan from Los Angeles from 1986-1992.Was cast in the role of ""Marty in the Morning"" by Babaloo Mandel and Lowell Ganz three days into shooting the pilot of ""Knight and Daye for NBC."" He replaced a ""little person"" in the role.Wife, Ann Gudelsky Cipriano won an Emmy in 1984 while at KABC TV.
