Sasha Azevedo was born on May 20, 1978, in San Diego, California to a Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy and a loan officer of the mortgage industry. A year later, her family was stationed to historic Charleston, South Carolina, which became Sasha's hometown. First introduced to entertainment while performing on stage at the age of seven as a baton twirler, cheerleader, gymnast and dancer, at age 11, she embarked on a successful modeling career after training through the same modeling school attended by Andie MacDowell, Mena Suvari and Ashley Scott. Over the years, Sasha has made her mark as a print model, promotional model and spokesmodel.While in her late teens, Sasha earned her first role as a principal voiceover on camera for her college campus' new student orientation film. Soon after, she landed a few principal roles in commercials, as well as a few industrial films. In her early 20s, she landed herself a supporting role in the independent film Carma. It was 2002 and the same year she was cast in her first credited role in The Notebook (2004). For the next couple of years, Sasha took time away to work as a magician's assistant aboard Norwegian and Princess Cruise Lines. In 2005, she was featured in The Blue-Eyed Six documentary for Pennsylvania Historic Dramas, performed in the musical Damn Yankees! at Lebanon Community Theatre, and worked on the set of Live 8: A Worldwide Concert Event Presented by Nokia (2005) (TV) in Philadelphia.
