Julian was born and raised in New Jersey until the age of ten when his family moved to Athens, Alabama. Upon graduating high school in 1997, he enlisted in the U.S. Marines and served five years active duty before returning home to Alabama. In 2003, with never having any ideas or aspiration of acting or becoming an actor prior to this, he found himself involved with local theatres in Huntsville, Alabama and working on several independent films. Spent five years active duty in the U.S. Marines and a sixth in the U.S. Marine Reserves. While serving at MTACS-28 in MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina he was reduced in rank once for sharing a six pack of beer with two under age Marines in his barracks. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant.Won his first acting role of Eduardo in The Novice (2004) by sending in an audition tape from his acting class.Studied the Sanford Meisner Technique under the direction of F.X. Vitolo in Huntsville, Alabama.Is an active member of a local comedy improv troupe in Madison, Alabama called Face 2 Face Improv. It is headed up by his close friend Eugene Banks, who was also his first acting coach.
