Angelica Larissa Vogt was born in Marin County California to parents Robert and Teresa Vogt, who at that time, owned a video store. Angelica spent a large part of her early childhood hanging out in her father's video store, and her mother's Sanrio store. Because of this, she grew up with a strong affinity for film and Japanese pop culture. When Angelica was an infant, her mother would put on various cartoons to calm her down. Because of this, Angelica developed a love for Animation at an early age. When she was a year old, Angelica moved with her parents to the Napa Valley, where she was raised with her younger sister Natasha and her younger brother William.She graduated from Vintage High School in 1999, and from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004.She has worked with Francis Ford Coppola, John Sayles, Chris Cooper, Richard Dryfuss, Tim Roth, Thora Birch, Virginia Madsen and others on various films.She is currently working at Dreamworks Animation and developing her own projects in her spare time.
