Born in Rochester, New York, Chris knew early on he wanted a future career in film, as his cousin Patrick Tantalo, a special effects technician, would bring back pictures from his work from films such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective that dazzled his imagination. After shifting aspirations from working on special effects to being behind the camera as a director, he cemented his status on knowing what he wanted to do with his life.
