Mini Biography / Biyografi
BC Furtney is a horror filmmaker. His work - from award-winning short films, to music videos, to two independent features - showcases a sensibility that fuses the grit of 70's Hollywood, with the style of European verite, all rolled into a package undeniably marketable to today's media-saturated audiences. His work as a writer, covering most genres, is recognizably infused with the dark undercurrents and natural dialogue that mark his style.Furtney emerged to the public in 2004 with "Mister Eryams," a psychological-horror short that won the Best Film accolade of the Fangoria Blood Drive, released on dvd that same year. He promptly followed it with the now-notorious horror-comedy, "Disposer," which marked him as the only filmmaker to be featured on both Fangoria Blood Drive DVD Volumes I & II, and continues to garner requests from film festivals around the world, nearly three years after its release. As bassist/songwriter of arguably the "world's last rock band," Bull Lee, Furtney likes to stay busy - on the page, on the screen, or on the stage - and continually adds to his repertoire of original screenplays. He recently directed the debut music video for L.A. Singer-Songwriter of the Year, Amanda Mosher, appropriately titled "Mr. Madness." IMDb Mini Biography By: ATWA Images
