Born in the little town of St. Marys, Ohio, this vibrant young actress was struck by the acting bug at the early age of eight. Shortly after landing two national commercials while studying acting at the prestigious New Village School of Drama in New York City, she was cast in several hit off Broadway shows including "Take a Number Darling" and "Tis a Pity She's a Whore". From the Big Apple, Strickland headed west where she immediately landed the role of "Hannah Campbell" on the daily soap "Port Charles".
