Kacy Andrews has been actively involved in the entertainment industry for more than 18 years. Her diverse resume includes feature films and television series as well as theater and animation.Kacy spent nine years in both production and project development at Los Angeles-based Hyperion Studio. This included work as one of the producers on Miramax's Playing By Heart starring Sean Connery, Dennis Quaid, and Angelina Jolie. Kacy's portfolio at Hyperion also includes feature film Tom's Midnight Garden starring Joan Plowright and Greta Scacchi; BoneChillers, an ABC children's television series starring Linda Cardellini; and numerous animated projects - FOX's Life With Louie with Louie Anderson; HBO's Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child with Denzel Washington, Robert Guillaume and Whoopi Goldberg; and Paramount Pictures' The Oz Kids with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and other known child actors.Moving from Hyperion, Kacy had a short stint as Vice President of Development at Blue Focus Management where she worked on projects for MGM, Disney and Sony. She then dabbled in the dotcom and software arena at Creative Planet and Entertainment Partners.Kacy is a recipient of the David Letterman Internship Award and a graduate of Ball State University with continuing studies at the American Film Institute. In 2000, she was awarded Ball State University's Graduate of the Last Decade for achievements in her career and charitable involvements. Since her move to Los Angeles, she has been actively involved with such organizations as Women in Film, Step-Up, and Big Sisters/Big Brothers of Los Angeles.In 2003, her consulting work at Bigfoot Productions in Asia led to the creation of the International Academy of Film and Television and Bigfoot Entertainment. As both founder and CEO, she has overseen the development of the operations, campus and production facilities located in Cebu, Philippines. Kacy is based in Los Angeles, California and frequently commutes to Bigfoot Entertainment's Asian headquarters.Over the past two years, Bigfoot Entertainment has invested in several feature films, including Shanghai Kid, Falling for Grace and 3 Needles (starring Lucy Lui and Olympia Dukakas). Kacy served as Executive Producer on the award-winning feature film, The Curiosity of Chance, and the upcoming documentaries USS Cooper and Intoxicated.
