Date of Birth / Doğum Tarihi 4 July 1971, Tehran, Iran Mini Biography / Biyografi An American-Armenian filmmaker from Los Angeles, born in Tehran of Armenian parents. In 1985, He moved to Nicosia, Cyprus to attend Melkonian Educational Institute. In the spring of 1991, he entered the U.S. as an immigrant and saw this as the perfect opportunity for him to pursue his lifelong dream of studying to become a filmmaker.In 1996, he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in film production at University of California, Santa Cruz and in 1998, his Master of Arts Degree from Northwestern University's Radio-TV-Film Programs.
