Started his acting career in theatre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, after graduating from York University's Theatre program.Was chosen as one of 12 actors from the nation-wide search in Canada to participate in the prestigious professional development program for classical theatre, The Birmingham Conservatory at the Stratford Festival of Canada, working on Shakespeare's Richard III, King Lear, and John Webster's The Duchess of Malfi. Subsequently spent a season (2006) appearing in Coriolanus, Much Ado About Nothing, and Twelfth Night.Has lent his voice to a number of radio dramas for CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation).Plays guitar and sings; appeared on Rogers' TV Talk Show, DayTime, as a guest singer/song-writer.
