He graduated from Yale University in 1995.Son of poet Sharon Olds.His theater career began at 15, when he was cast in ""Measure for Measure"" at the Public Theater. Years later, he originated the role of Rudolpho in the Tony award-winning production of Arthur Miller's ""A View From the Bridge"" on Broadway. His performance of the blond haired Italian received widespread critical acclaim. Other Broadway credits include ""Any Given Day"", as well as ""Rough Crossing"" (Bay Street Theater), ""The Countess"" (Old Globe), ""The Living"" (Yale Rep), ""Richard II"" and ""Loose Ends"" (ECA), both of which he also directed.
