Richard Robert Ruccolo was born on March 2, 1972, in Marlton, New Jersey. He first discovered his love of acting after he earned the lead role in his high school's production of "Oklahoma!" After school, he left for Los Angeles, California, where he slept on a friend's sofa until he could find work as an actor. He won small roles on "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990) and "The X Files" (1993), and later starred in "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" (1998) as Pete Dunville.
